Depending on your seating arrangement, McIntyre Place can accommodate up to 120 guests.
This information will be outlined when making your booking.
Guests will have access to the James Cultural Plaza (approx. 50 feet from McIntyre Place) for their ceremony needs.

The Buchtel House (located at 217 W 7th St.) can be rented as a bridal suite for your big day.

Yes, we will have a staff
Last call for alcohol will be at 10:00pm.
Music must be turned off by 10:30pm.
Your rental time ends at 11:59pm
We will have the tables and chairs set up in your desired floor plan before your arrival.
You are responsible for throwing all trash away inside the venue and removing all décor/linens that were brought by you. You are also responsible for making sure the space is left very close to the way you found it, except for normal cleaning services.
**An excessive cleaning fee will be charged to the account holder in the event that additional cleaning is required above and beyond the normal time allotted.

Payments
We advise our clients not to book until they are certain of date and price points.
We do not offer refunds for cancellations.
A transfer fee may be required if new date is available.
Your first payment will be 50% of your total payment due 5 days after contracts and invoices are sent to your email.
The second and final payment is due 90 days before your event.
Your date is not officially booked until your first payment has been processed.
Bar
Yes, we have beer, wine, and liquor. Guests who plan to drink are required to use the McIntyre Place for bar services.
Our Bar Services package includes the McIntyre Place providing security & bartenders.
Alcohol provided by a 3rd party at your event is prohibited under Indiana State Law.
Indiana State Law prohibits carry-out from the McIntyre Place bar.
We will reach out to you 90 days before you event to talk over your bar preferences.
Absolutely! We are happy to work with you to curate the perfect personalized drink for your event.
Vendors
Yes, we allow you to use any licensed and insured vendors. However, you will be responsible for the vendors you allow into the space that are not on our preferred vendors list.
We do not recommend doing your own catering. However, if you have your heart set on family recipes, we can accommodate this with a few additional guidelines:
- An additional $150 refundable damage deposit
- Liability insurance provided by client
